Corrosion Prevention and Control

MKI has extensive experience in developing Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPAC) programs in support of tactical ground and ground support equipment. Specifically, MKI's CPAC solutions have assisted in reducing the corrective maintenance activities attributed to corrosion, thereby reducing the maintenance burden to the fleet, improving operational readiness, and lowering life cycle cost. For existing assets, our focus is on identifying and implementing new corrosion control products and maintenance processes.For new procurements, ourfocus is on implementing corrosion control in the design stage. These efforts include investigations into materials, coatings and processes to control or prevent corrosion in new Marine Corps systems.

MKI Systems' CPAC support capabilities range from the assessment of corrosion prevention products and the generation of acquisition documentation requirements to database development and the maintenance of the Marine Corps CPAC Web-site.
