C4I ACQUISITION ANALYST


Location : Dumfries, VA Clearance : Secret
Education Required : Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS/BSEE/BSCS/)
Candidates may substitute an Associates Degree with at least 6 years of progressive acquisition experience with complex C4I systems. In addition, 10 years of progressive technical experience with complex C4I systems may be substituted for a degree.

Years of Relevent Experience : 4 years of progressive acquisition experience with complex C4I systems.

Required Skills : Seeking highly motivated individuals with a minimum of 4 years experience supporting C4I programs similar to MARCORSYSCOM. An ability to interpret and apply DoD 5000 and Dept. of the Navy (ASN) guidance to program requirements, and an understanding of current industry practices. Comprehensive understanding of Marine Corps related acquisition practices is highly desired. This position requires 2, or more years demonstrated technical experience with one or more of the following: USMC fielding and support; MARCORSYSCOM business practices; commercial buying practices and general contracting; GSA schedule and Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) purchasing; and acquisition reform initiatives. Experience conducting market research and developing economic acquisition strategies is also desired.

Responsibilities : Detailed analysis of C4I systems, ensuring compliance with performance requirements, design functionality, and interface definition. Supports the development of DoD 5000, program specific documentation; supports formal milestone reviews; analyzes fielding and support methods for compliance with doctrinal requirements; and supports all facets of program planning and administration.
