Specific Support Elements:
- Program Management and Acquisition Support - This effort encompassed all facets of programmatic support from developing acquisition strategies to determining distribution requirements for all the Services, regardless of Service sponsorship. We provide continuity and support to many legacy and new programs under development. We continue to develop program requirements and operational concepts analyses, conduct Analysis of Alternatives, and develop Statements of Work, Performance Specifications, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Acquisition Program Baselines, Test and Evaluation Master Plans; Environmental, Safety and Health Analysis, and all other documents mandated by DoD 5000.2R. Other support includes risk management & requirements/vulnerability analysis, program plans and acquisition/technical documentation development and management, test metrics and performance measurement, briefing materials development for engineering and analytical findings, IPT and working group participation, T&E preparation/participation, COTS/NDI assessment, tradeoff analysis and trade studies, and CBRN systems engineering and architecture analysis. Since the inception of the Marine Corps Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), our developed Abbreviated Acquisition Procedures aided in fielding over 150 major end-items to CBIRF. To assist in tracking and monitoring programs, we employ Microsoft Project. We develop both micro and marco level schedules. To aid in standardizing procedures within PM CBRN, we developed Acquisition and Administrative Desktop Procedures, which are updated and currently in use today.
- Logistics Support - This effort encompassed all facets of Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) analysis, CBRN equipment consolidation and asset management, development and implementation of Performance Based Logistics strategies, and strategies coinciding with Total Life Cycle System Management.
- Training Support - This effort includes involvement with New Equipment Training Teams and curriculum development. We develop strategies to insure that any new technology solution supports web-based training. We leverage the skills of our staff, who have supported Web-Based Interactive Multi-Media Training Development efforts for multiple service programs. For all fielded COTS/NDI systems, we monitor initial operator and maintenance training to determine the viability for Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Interactive Courseware (ICW) to support comprehensive sustainment-training programs. We have personnel in liaison with the Army's Center of Excellence (DoD CBRN School) to ensure current technologies and capabilities are being taught to future CBRN personnel.
