Engagement Title: United States Government Facilities Support

General Scope: A Facilities Support organization within the US Intelligence Community has contracted with MKI Systems to provide project managers to manage many of their new construction and renovation projects throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. The MKI PMs are responsible for working with customers to identify scope of work requirements, develop cost estimates while working with the government financial process to assist in transferring funding, develop and execute a meaningful schedule, develop information technology requirements and coordinate with appropriate resources for installation and serve as the ultimate responsible party of successful execution of the project.

Specific Support Elements:
• Project Management - MKI provides project managers who directly manage all aspects of facilities projects from requirements definition, through execution of tasks, to final cost and customer close out.
• Business Process Improvement (BPI) - MKI has taken an active role in helping FS improve the way they run projects and overall conduct business. Specifics include developing a project management guideline and implementing the "FS Wiki" to capture lessons learned and other relevant pieces of data for projects.
• Training Services - MKI is providing training support services to FS government management with the goal of developing "FS PM101". This training course will be given to all incoming project managers that are supporting the organization.
