General Scope: Since the inception of the Marine Corps CPAC Program in 1994, MKI Systems has supported the Marine Corps Systems Command CPAC Program Office by delivering program management, logistical, and analytical services. Our goal has been to assist the CPAC Program Manager in meeting the needs of the Marine Corps acquisition community, maintenance community, and the Marine operating forces in the effort to extend the useful life of all Marine Corps tactical ground combat and support equipment by reducing maintenance requirements and associated costs due to corrosion. Our success in meeting that goal has been attributed to our experienced and knowledgeable CPAC program support team.

Specific Support Elements:
- Program Management -MKI assists the Marine Corps CPAC Program Manager in developing, coordinating, and tracking all task activities performed by external agencies contracted to support the Program Office. We participate in program IPTs, and design reviews, to provide subject matter expertise and ensure that CPAC Program goals have been incorporated in program documentation, and throughout the development process. We also develop program documentation, meeting agendas, and briefings in support of the Program Manager.
- Maintenance Support -MKI helped establish, and oversees Corrosion Service Teams (CSTs) throughout the Marine Corps for the purpose of assessing the corrosion condition of fielded assets, and applying approved corrosion control products, thereby extending their service life.
- Training Services -MKI provides subject matter expertise and technical input for the development of corrosion training curricula to be taught at Marine Corps schools, and for the development of organizational level equipment maintenance procedures that incorporate CPAC considerations.
- Web Site and Database Development -MKI developed and maintains a web site in support of the Marine Corps CPAC Program to aid in information dissemination and exchange of corrosion prevention and mitigation ideas, practices and processes. We also developed and maintain a database containing over 30,000 records of the corrosion condition of Marine Corps ground combat and support equipment.
